The Ellington Farmers Market is an association out of Ellington, Connecticut that focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle while also maintaining our vibrant local economy. They do so by encouraging healthy food choices, hosting weekly social gatherings, and promoting local products and services.
The 2016 summer market includes a weekly outdoor farmers’ market every Saturday from May 7th to October 22nd. The market opens at 9:00 am and closes at noon. Located on Main Street in Ellington, Arbor Park is the perfect location for a farmers’ market because of Ellington’s unique agricultural heritage.
Each week at the market features a different theme, live entertainment, and a handful of guest vendors alongside the standard weekly vendors. Vendors sell a variety of locally grown or produced goods including farm fresh produce, meats and seafood, baked treats, dairy products, hand-crafted goods, flowers and much more! The Ellington Farmers Market is committed to providing products that are grown, harvested, produced, or hand-crafted in the state of Connecticut.
